Service Weekend and Full Moon Drumming at Claymont

Hello All!

I hope this finds you well.
For me, life is good!

June 13-15th, 2003 we will be going out to Claymont Court to begin the building of the permanent Fire Circle. Please consider joining us as we consecrate the ground and pray for permission to change the lay of the land, and then work on making it so!

Other projects will be happening at the same time and we will have a Fire Circle!

Please pass this info onto all you know who maybe interested in giving of some service time, and drumming, dancing, singing and playing under the Full Moon!

Join the Claymont Society for a weekend of self-exploration and conscious service.
June 13th 14th 15th, 2003

We will share the experienced-based spiritual work we practice at Claymont.

Learn how to work in the world while being authentically present. Through conscious labor (work in our gardens, on the land and mansion), meditation, dancing and sharing we will come to new understandings about who we are.

We use practices from different groups that have come to Claymont

To name a few: Buddhist Meditation, 4th way group, Native American spirituality, contact improvisation and Sufi orders. There also will be time during the weekend for each participant to share his or her own search and wisdom.

Projects will include:
Completion of barrier free bathroom and living area
Re-doing the bathrooms in the mansion
Building a fire circle

Come out of the city, put your hands in the earth and enjoy community life for a weekend!

Bring linens and work clothes. We will provide some food please bring some to share . The cost of the weekend is nothing less than everything. (Donations will be greatly appreciated)

Full Moon Fire Circle
June 14th 9pm

Join us for an evening of Ceremony, Ritual, Drumming and Dance around a sacred fire.

We will have a potluck dinner in the mansion at 7pm.
Fire lighting around 9pm
